Message and Strategy for Winning Campaigns

Marshall Spevak
Marshall at age 5

From battling rival soccer players to pranking his older sister, Marshall spent his childhood strategizing against opponents both on and off the athletic field. Little did he know his ability to create and execute winning plays would translate into a successful career in campaign communications.

Now as an Associate at Kennedy Communications, Marshall is a star player, working to keep our team in top shape. From writing and researching to client work and logistics, he helps create tactical mail pieces that move voters.

Battle-tested in rough-and-tumble South Jersey politics, Marshall worked as a Press Assistant on the successful campaigns of the late Congressman John Adler and U.S. Senator Chris Coons. Prior to joining Kennedy Communications in 2012, he served as the Communications Coordinator for the winning re-election of NJ Senator Jim Whelan, the top legislative race in New Jersey in 2011.

Marshall majored in political science at Syracuse University, where he ran Barack Obama’s campus campaign during the 2008 primary. He also spent a semester in Washington, DC, interning for Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research.

In his free time, Marshall likes to win fantasy football and obsess over Philadelphia sports. A diehard soccer fanatic, he also compares any real-life situation to HBO's critically acclaimed series The Wire
