Mark joined the Kennedy Communications family as a contract designer in Fall 2003, and we liked him so much that we made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Mark is the Senior Art Director and capable right arm of the Creative Department, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Mark was born and raised in the heart of America's tornado belt: Columbus, Ohio. When he was 15, his parents decided to abandon suburbia and moved the clan to wild and wonderful West Virginia. Mark attended Concord University in Athens, WV, received a BA in Advertising and Marketing, and upon graduation embarked on his colorful career. He eventually made his way to the DC Metro area and began working with organizations such as Burson-Marsteller, The American Red Cross, The United States Department of Defense, the National Education Association, JC Penney, Inc., Pan American Health Organization, the World Bank, General Motors Corporation, Porsche, SAAB Motors, Telemundo and Giant Foods. His most notable assignment, prior to Kennedy, was his time at The National Geographic Society. While at the Society, Mark became immersed in the wonders of Direct Mail and assisted the Marketing Services Department for many years. His experience and expertise in the field are an invaluable asset to Kennedy Communications.
In his free time, Mark is the proud parent of an amazing cat named Little Man and has channeled his love of classic pulp fiction and Silver-age comic books by writing and illustrating a graphic novel entitled REBELLION DOGS.
