Some writers find inspiration by connecting with nature or traveling to exotic locations. Claire Low finds it while brushing her teeth.
Born and raised in Chicago, Claire has always been a little different. While other teenagers were watching MTV and playing video games, Claire traded Real World for Hardball, preferring political talk shows and 24-hour news networks.
Claire’s love for punditry transplanted her to Washington, D.C., where she attended The George Washington University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with special honors in Political Communication.
Claire first joined Kennedy Communications as a part-time writer in the fall of 2008. Now a Senior Associate, Claire works both on the account and creative side, helping clients in high-profile races across half a dozen states win tight races. All while turning strategic visions into award-winning creative concepts, messaging and art direction. In 2010, her unique work for U.S. Senator Chris Coons earned recognition from Campaign & Elections Magazine and the American Association of Political Consultants.
Prior to re-joining Kennedy full-time in 2010, Claire worked on the community outreach campaign for digital television transition at the Federal Communications Commission and at the public policy department of financial services nonprofit. She also served as an intern for Senator John Kerry and Congressman Rahm Emanuel.
In her free time, Claire can be found trying out new recipes for her Crock Pot and watching those same Sunday morning talk shows.
